rob_zukowski Posted February 21, 2005 Share Posted February 21, 2005 Just wondering which lens you would recommend. I have the money for the G lens, but I am wondering about the ADI flash sysytem. clinton_abe Posted February 21, 2005 Share Posted February 21, 2005 If I were you, I'd buy the newer lens. First, the older 'G' lens does not have the 'D' capability. Second, the older 'G' lens takes a long time to auto-focus. While I haven't tried the newer lens, I can't imagine it being so slow. Third, the 'G' lens is heavy having been designed a long time ago. diego_maradona1 Posted February 21, 2005 Share Posted February 21, 2005 The G lens produces wonderfully sharp images. Autofocusing speed is fine in conjuction with Dynax 7.
