A12 Magazines - Construction differrences result in different frame borders on negative?

I have a Hasselblad A12 magazine from 1974 and when I digitize my negatives including the film borders I am seeing only a minor indent going vertically up in the top right hand corner, apart from the two trademark V's in the left border.
This is probably caused by some room at one end of the top film roller situated in the film window in the magazine's outer casing.
When I look at pictures from other photographers I see some indentations going horizontally left and right on all four corners.
I think it looks cool and it is somehow caused by a different construction of the magazines.
Does anyone know if my observation is right and if it is related to a certain manufacturing period?
Then I know what to look for when searching for a second magazine.
Thank you.

The more recent magazine are a bit different in

construction, with the little roll placed on the upper and

lower side of the frame that protude further more

beyond the corner causing that shape on the film. I do

not have information about serial number or the year

when the the production of the new model started,

anyway if you manage to look at a recent magazine

(may be in a shop) you will notice the difference. Once

you looked at it once, you will be able to tell apart the

two type for future shopping.
