adrian douglas
I've just picked up a 1nRS here in Japan. The manual is in Japanese but I can't clearly translate what one part is talking about. It the section about the little button on the base of the lens mount. I think it has something to do with depth of field, but can't quite make it out fully. Cna someone with a 1n help me out please? ilia
DOF preview button?
c_terry
Yes, DOF preview. go in aperture priority (Av), set aperture for f11 or so... look through the viewfinder and press the button. The lens will stop down so you can 'preview' how much depth of field you have. The viewfinder will darken proportionally to what aperture setting you have also. adrian douglas
That's what I thought. Japanese is a killer language and I wasn't quite sure. Thanks very much
photobyalan.com
Why don't you just push it and see what happens? Sorry, couldn't resist... The previous posters gave you the correct answer, BTW.
