Mike Gammill
Welcome to the last weekend thread of 2016. I hope everyone has had a good year. We've had some great images posted in these threads over the last year. Three (more or less) from your classic film camera, hybrid classic, or modern film camera in the tradition of a classic (like a Nikon FM 10 or Ricoh KR II Super, etc.) As always an open invitation to share with our 365 day thread. If you've never posted a classic manual camera image now's good time to introduce yourself to everyone here. I'll start with some recent images.<div></div>
Mike Gammill
In between Christmas activities I managed to shoot, process, and scan some black & white.<div></div>
Mike Gammill
What better to go with classic film cameras than some classic vinyl. My youngest son (age 20) got a turntable, receiver and speakers for Christmas. We've listened to some reissued albums as well as some that are 50+ years old.<div></div>
Mike Gammill
With Christmas falling on Sunday this year we were able to attend church on Christmas Day. I ran sound for the service so I got a photo of the sanctuary. I'd forgotten how shallow DOF is at f 1.7 so not every part is in focus.<div></div>

rossb
<p>Just attempting to upload a photo. Happy Holidays. <img src="/photodb/folder?folder_id=1087253" alt="" /></p> <p>Sorry but I cannot determine the mechanism to upload. I gave it my best. I got that little square thing to pop up but it's not a photo.</p>
Mike Gammill
Ross- normally (with Chrome and Firefox at least) after I click "submit" for my text I am prompted to select "confirm". Afterwards you will see a message that states your message is now in the forum. Below there is a gray box that will allow image upload. There should be a "choose file" button to press. This takes you to where your pictures are located. I believe P.N. can only handle jpegs.

Bill Bowes
<p>Hello everyone. Hope to add a few more before the year closes out, but for now, a shot from a recent walk-about. New owners of this property have removed the flower/leaf plywood panels from this drive gate for restoration. White "blobs" of outlines are adhesive used to keep panels on gate wood. Fed-2, UFX400, Obsidian Aqua & V600 scan. Aloha, Bill</p><div></div>

rick_drawbridge
<p>It looks cold over there, in stark contrast to our summer days. Here are three from a morning expedition with a Kiev 88CM wearing the legendary 50mm f/4 Carl Zeiss Jena MC Flektogon. Film was Arista EDU Ultra developed in PMK Pyro.</p> <div></div>

Pinklather
Dave E - that first desert landscape hang on to the highs so well I had to look twice to see it wasn't IR. Nicely done. Rick, the tones - espec the umprella/table & bldg side are killer. James, you're making that FM sing. 'Got a new (to me) enlarger this wk. 'Hope to have some fun while I make *alot* of mistakes.
