clark_roberts
Hi all,
Well I got my rolleiflex from the bay today and it's in pretty good shape,
glass is pretty clean the body is in nice shape, the back has it's share of
nicks and bangs, so here's the question if I need a back for it can I get a
back from a MX or other camera or do I have to stay with a 3.5e back?

Thanks
Clark
Greg M
I would be surprised if they were all interchangeable. You might want to ask someone in the repair/service business, such as Rollei-trained Henry Fleenor at Oceanside Repair..

http://www.rolleirepairs.com/

SCL
Perhaps simply recovering it might suffice. http://www.cameraleather.com/

clark_roberts
Hi all,
Finally cleaned up my 3.5e, received all the way from Brazil a parts body with good leather
and nicer crank and side panel for the film advance side. It came out real nice but in time I
need a new screen and have a CLA which I think will be the best for this guy.
kenneth_cooke
Your camera is maybe 50 years old and you would expect it to have a few marks on the back. That is part of it's DNA and shows that the camera has been used for the purpose it is intended for and not stored in a glass case like boring collector tend to do to preserve their investment. Providing the taking lens is clear with no fungi and the shutter speeds are reasonably accurate, put some B&W film into it and enjoy
