Any recommended Mamiya Press Lens Repairers?

<p>Hi all. I just acquired a nice Mamiya Press 250mm f5 lens. It's in great condition except for the focusing. It is completely jammed at infinity. Can anyone recommend someone that works on Mamiya press lenses? Many thanks!</p>

<p>It won't be cheap, and may not be worth it, but you could check with KEH in Atlanta, or CRIS in Arizona. Cost will probably be about $200. Depends what you paid for the lens, but you may want to give it a go yourself. </p>

<p>Worth a try - leave the lens in a warm sunny place for a little while. The jam is very likely due to dried grease.</p>

<p>David makes a good point. I have freed up 'jammed' lenses with a hair dryer. Just be careful, the lens will get hot to the touch.</p>

<p>Thanks for the advice guys. I was able to partially disassemble it from the mount. I was able to get to the helicals and apply a little solvent which did not really help. I can't disassemble it any further without taking the shutter out. I will try and warm up the lens with the sun and see if that helps. I was hoping it was dried up grease.</p>
