Classic Manual Camera Weekend, April 22

Recommended Posts

Time to start our weekend thread since it is Friday, April 22 in some parts of the world. And an early "Happy Earth Day" greeting to all.
I'll start with some images from a roll of Eastman 5222 that I recently developed and scanned.
Don't forget to consider posting that "fourth" image to our 365 day thread.

00dtab-562535684.jpg.ded36066f170b35a53c7cb2eb237f4bd.jpg

Hello everyone. Just before leaving Hawaii I jumped onto Ebay to purchase a quantity of Ultrafine X (UFX) 400 film (120 & 35) for my Puget Sound abode. A "new" emulsion by them caught my eye. It is called UltraMax and is listed as a "Tmax / Delta" type T grain film. Offered only in 135-36, I purchased 5 rolls for testing. . . . never know when a Big Box company will drop your favorite emulsion.
Here are three taken in my favorite, Tulalip Marina. Yes, the subject matter has been worked before, but what better way to "test drive" a new emulsion! Only one roll has gone thru the camera, so a "review" is a bit premature. Agfa Super Solinette (35mm), Ultrafine UltraMax 400 @ 320asa (UFMax 400), Pilot meter, 1.0ml Obsidian Aqua @ 17m Enjoy, Bill

00dthS-562563184.jpg.82957409926206b66f12b4df20673955.jpg

I absolutely love the rendering of this lens.

Georg: Nice camera pr0n, possibly the most unusual composition I've seen. Brilliant!
Bill: I see your friend OA made the Spring migration out of Hawai'i with you!
I'll contribute three from the new-to-me Minolta XE-7, with my pre-existing MC Rokkor-PF 58mm 1:1.4 lens. Exposures unrecorded. Ilford Delta 100 through Rodinal. The first is nothing special but was the first picture from the first roll through...
