kristine_evans
I recently bought a 500c/m with A12 back and i've shot three rolls so far. Two of them have overlapping frames. Any idea what the problem is?
BrianS1664879711
Sure, I know what the problem is: back is old and well used. It needs to be serviced. After that you won't get overlapping frames. ...
Ed_Ingold
Overlaps due to a worn back are usually overlap frames by a few millimeters. Loading the back incorrectly will overlap by half a frame or so, and present a lot of resistance. The usual error is to load film on top of the little metal tab on the pressure plate. You have to turn the insert key to the LOCK position to raise the tab, so the film will fit underneath.
michael_przewrocki2
just for your knowledge: the dented wheel(cog-wheel?) does not transport but count the images and is telling the system not to overlap......
i removed the dents on one of my hasselblad 70mm backs or on the insert finding this out later. but i am sure i can make the images be transported right, by doing an empty shot. must better testing when camera is involved. dont have one yet. maybe on a 4x5-adapter.
