Uhooru
Wow, its Friday already. Amazing. So, its time again to post your favorite pic of the week. All welcome and please don't hesitate to share. I'll start off with another photo from the "Dayh of the Dead" in Santa Ana. This head shot was done with a GX7 and a Lecia Summicron 50mm. I do like this combo for these kinds of shots. Enjoy and lets see yours!
knut_schwinzer
Hi Barry, nice, ok, a head shot...My subject wasn't as proactive as yours; the flies were mad that day. M9 and Tele Elmar 135mm.

knut_schwinzer
Thanks Charlie, great mood! I think the best POTW threads are these corresponding and intertwining ones. M2 also is a magic eye.

PD: second pic is just a crop from the first.
stric
Here is one with 35 mm Summilux pre-asph lens, shot wide open (Leica MP + Fujifilm Acros 100). I ruined quite a few shots with it. The lens required some getting used to it, but it is very small and it is capable of producing some beautiful glow when wide open. For me it was one of those rare and great (almost too good to be true) Craigslist deals that after a few months of use became a much better re-sell deal on eBay. I miss it but I don't necessarily regret selling it. Anyway, here is my shot for the week. Cheers!

Uhooru
I like it Knut! I'm sure the horse was going crazy at that point. Speaking of bugs, Emir on cue! All these are nice, digging the b/w though i'm starting to feel lonely in color here.

Wouter Willemse
My first adventures in rangefinder-land did not go exactly as planned, as the camera I got from eBay had very inconsistent frame-spacing. In the meanwhile, it's fixed, but to test whether this was so, I used up two rolls of cheap expired Kodak color film, and developed it as B&W as I didn't want to waste money on testshots. The results are all moody, soft and yet somehow manage to charme me a bit.
