Alex_Es
It's September! Leaves are already starting to show reds and yellows in some parts of the world. So let's do it, FD shooters. Show us your stuff. Must note that photos by FL and R cameras and lenses are also welcomed.

I'm going to start off with a shot of my new near-pristine Canon EF (yes another one) that I found in "Junk" at Naniwa Camera, Kobe for 5800 yen. I cannot offer any images made by it because I have been homebound with a terrible back pain. Soon this will pass (I hope) and I will post something from this camera.

Here it is:

ashbrown
Hi Alex, and sure hope you're back on your feet real soon!
A nice piece of junk indeed, and looking forward to seeing what it can do.
First shot for me is from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura:

Bill C1664885404
Canon FDn 400/4.5 is a favorite of mine...driving past a farm I noticed this Llama standing belly deep in the cool water of a pond, just chewing its cud. A Llama around here is unique enough as it is but also standing there in that pond setting really caught my eye so I had to shoot it. It had apparently been standing there long enough for the ripples to die down and I was afraid it would move at any minute...so I stopped, quickly swapped lenses, used a fence post to steady myself as best I could, and got a couple shots.

Bill C1664885404
I discovered that anywhere there's a low light shadowy background, if I use spot metering on small subjects the backgrounds usually just disappear...gives things sort of a portrait effect for sure
