It's September! Leaves are already starting to show reds and yellows in some parts of the world. So let's do it, FD shooters. Show us your stuff. Must note that photos by FL and R cameras and lenses are also welcomed.

I'm going to start off with a shot of my new near-pristine Canon EF (yes another one) that I found in "Junk" at Naniwa Camera, Kobe for 5800 yen. I cannot offer any images made by it because I have been homebound with a terrible back pain. Soon this will pass (I hope) and I will post something from this camera.

Here it is:

Canon FDn 400/4.5 is a favorite of mine...driving past a farm I noticed this Llama standing belly deep in the cool water of a pond, just chewing its cud. A Llama around here is unique enough as it is but also standing there in that pond setting really caught my eye so I had to shoot it. It had apparently been standing there long enough for the ripples to die down and I was afraid it would move at any minute...so I stopped, quickly swapped lenses, used a fence post to steady myself as best I could, and got a couple shots.

I hate the "steam-bath" that comes from occasional showers during days of high heat...but there are positive side effects.

Beautiful Whitetail Buck slowly approaching through almost black woods.
Just as his head began penetrating a shaft of sunlight I whistled.
He came to a stop with his head & rack in the shaft of light...got an interesting / different shot.

Canon FDn 100/4.0 Macro Lens

Shut in with dark, gloomy, rain and needing to feed the habit, I played the cards I was dealt.
Glanced outside and saw a big patch of mushrooms sprouting up in the back yard.
Got set up, grabbed an umbrella, and took a few shots...better than no pictures today at all.
They'll probably be gone by morning if the deer find them tonight.
