I took a family trip to California and was pleasantly surprised to find that the DA 20-40 zoom really covered 90% of my needs. I usually take a fast prime and/or a macro along with a more convenient standard zoom, but the F50 macro I brought almost never made it out of my bag. The Limited zoom did well in capturing family snaps as well as the occasional pretty thing that caught my eye.

00dSxF-558254784.jpg.8f585b66b1044f68eca60f959665f081.jpg

Beautiful images this week!

Nick-I can't imagine just having Pomegranates careless hanging in trees. My daughter would be in 7th heaven!
Jack-Thank you for the comments. As to the sign, it looks like a landmine went off there anyway! Great shot

Matt-the bonfire is assume! Both eerie and inviting!

Dorus-the image of your wife/daughter is golden. Capturing a moment like that tells a lovely story; it'll leave memories that outlive our little site.
Bob-It is all about location, location, location. I love the NW. I guess the only thing that surprises me is that there isn't more haze in your image from all the fires.
