Never having used them seriously, I'm not objecting to the joysticks - I've just not felt deprived without them and was curious how the other half live. These wont impact every kind of shooter, in every situation. But ostensibly, the idea is to make camera operation more intuitive. I generally applaud this kind of design philosophy, as it helps the camera get out of the way from coming in-between you and the shot. However, when the D5 and D500 are available, and perhaps even before that, I am sure we'll have additional threads on those new cameras, hopefully with actual experiences.
