arb_inv
Hi All

I have a nice Nikon F3P which after 30+ years is in need of some TLC. Any suggestions on Nikon Repairs in the Washington DC Region. Also can anyone recommend a good source of parts as some rubber / perishable parts are pretty broken down and it would be good to add some new replacements.

Thanks everyone

Arb
Ian Rance
Sadly Nikon stopped supporting the spares for the F3 in 2011, so any repairs needing parts are no longer possible (unless they have the spares in stock). I heard that Nikon dumped them, which makes sense as all parts were freely available then suddenly no parts were avaialble (from Nikon).

SCL
Give these folks (http://www.nikoncamerarepair.com/) a call. I've used them on many older bodies as well a digital ones. Located in Morton Grove, IL.

roger_cantwell1
Spares don't seem to be a problem in the UK. Ive just sent an F3 off for a new LCD (yes, they CAN go dim eventually) and replacement of a missing AE lock button and it wasn't a problem. The parts are cheap, too. I'm surprised Nikon have stopped supporting it as production of the F3 only stopped in the last 15 years.
