Mike Gammill
While my morning coffee is brewing let's get this weekend's thread started. I'll start with one macro shot and two shots from Rollei 35: one from 35S and one from B35. All on Plus-X.

Argenticien
Eeeek -- I'm away from my usual computer so downloaded these off my flickr, where I had put them up previously, and then resized them to the requisite 700px with SnagIt Editor (it's what was to hand). Sorry, they look less sharp than they had been.
--Dave

rick_drawbridge
And here's one from another of my favourite classic lenses, this time the somewhat rare Kyoei Optical "Acall" 135/35 fitted to a full-frame Canon DSLR. I might try to post a series from this lens for the forum.

Argenticien
Mike, "Raindrops" is great. I hope everything turned out well. (When someone says "waiting room", I infer "hospital".)
Brad, beautiful colors there. It makes me want to run out to my local yarnwala (if there even is one anymore) armed with a camera...
--Dave
Brad Cloven
Dave: Mixed natural and artificial light, Velvia 50, table-top tripod, 50mm 1.8 AIS at F/8. I wasn't just bored while the knitter shopped. The truck was hand held.
ivo_ivo
My first try of the "Superia" line (200). I am not exactly trilled by the lurid colours and excessive contrast though there is not much choice in terms of film.

I have no idea what is the name of this plant (a tree), but was fascinated by the delicate structure and texture and pastel colours of it's blossoms.
ivo_ivo
And to contrast the delicate flowering tree above here are some bold primary colours and strong linearity from a metro station in Brussels; all of them are different and each is kind of an artwork since was decorated by a single artist.

rick_drawbridge
The blossom looks like one of the Tamarix species, Ivo. Nice seascape, Tony: no, old Sensorex but a newly-acquired lens. Not particularly impressive, I have to relate...
ivo_ivo
That was spot on, the plant turned out to be Salt Cedar (Tamarix parviflora). Thanks Rick Drawbridge and the rest for the kind remarks.
User_2019667
Every Tuesday during the month of April Green Valley Growers, a nursery in Ashland, Ohio has senior citizen day. 10% off all plants and a free piece of cake and cup of coffee to customers. The owner bakes these beautiful cakes herself and generously gives them away to her customers. What a generous lady. And the cakes are as delicious as they look.
