mike_kearney
Rather than save my dimes for a new Mamiya 105-210mm ULD, I've ordered a near mint older style non-ULD version. I shoot mainly B/W. I understand that this lens is quite heavy but I've spent the past year carrying my one-year old son around so the heft shouldn't bother me. Thanks in advance for any opinions. I think you may need one more year of training. Just to be sure.
jeff_morfit
I bought Mamiya 105-210 zoom lens (non ULD version) myself a little over a year ago. I am completely satisfied with the image quality that it produces. The best way to use a zoom lens this heavy is to mount it on a sturdy tripod for best results. By the way, I also primarly shoot black and white.
