Greetings, Nikonistas. I'm in a reflective mood today. I'm reflecting on the fact that I didn't remind my customer to park this particular rig's very shiny rear end up against something a little less insane. It's always something at a quick, ad hoc shoot. Next time, next time.

Shot anything that reminds one about the angle of incidence, and its iron grip on the angle of reflection? Share!

00dGQ1-556525384.jpg.184e785a9789321170d4d3db1d69b89f.jpg

Spotted some intriguing guerilla art in downtown Foat Wuth last week while enjoying a leisurely afternoon street photography prowl. Tried for the ironic juxtaposition diptych trick but there weren't many people downtown that day.

I was visiting family in Belding Michigan last week. We took a drive and came across one of Michigan's "shoe trees" which, according to urban legend, contain the shoes of a serial killer's victims. Somehow, I don't think that Belding has suffered that kind of predator, particularly since some of the shoes are named for a couple (Josh & Susie). But, in the spirit of the urban legend, these photos have colors suppressed to avoid the look of a pleasant sunny afternoon.

00dGSj-556531284.jpg.ff75cf0b85942d45870598cc8090d992.jpg
