Andrew in Austin
The vase by the window and the bench are classic shots with the Rolleinar close-up attachment. I love the look of rust and old wood in black and white.
Best Regards - Andrew in Austin, TX
rick_drawbridge
Nice work. I particularly like the last two, with the vase. Great OOF background in the solo vase image.
bernard_lazareff
How do you compensate/avoid the parallax between viewing and taking lens, Do you have something like the Mamiya Paramender?
Congrats for your nice pictures; makes me want to try my paramender, now tat I've repaired it.
jj_golden
Thanks for the comments the viewing lens is parallax corrected the viewing lens has an identical lens as the taking one but it also has a prism that fits overthe lens that corrects it
tony_lockerbie
These have a really nice look to them, great oof, and the vase and the first pic of the bench really sing....great stuff!
chuck_foreman1
Indeed great stuff. Like the statue and the vase a lot. I have a set of these Rolinaars + 1 etc. Can you show the setup while I seem to have matched lenses.. what is the "prism" that goes over the parallax corrected lens? ?? jj_golden
Hi chuck, the thicker one that goes over the viewing lens is the matched lens plus the prism, the prism is what makes it thicker than the other one, mine came in 3 pieces..the two matched ones and the prism. the prism is also what corrects the parallax. Now the one I have that is made my omax , the viewing lens is one piece rather then two
