Important: please keep your image under 700 pixels wide/high for in-line viewing, and please try to keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Thursday threads are right here. Remember: only 3 images each week!

I'll start off our weekly thread with a picture of a tug and barge in the Hudson Highlands around Christmas time this year.

On the road again, and this time I brought my camera for a short layover in Guatemala City.

You don’t see too many telephone booths anymore and I wonder if these even work. Everyone in Guatemala seems to have a cell phone.

00dAwU-555568984.jpg.c9411401d3c87bfec779d6ed0bb4ecee.jpg

Last week I offered three bridges on or around the Thames where I live. This week I'm offering a couple of shots of a foot bridge across the Thames that is used to access a small island. A century ago, the bridge structure was used to mount eel nets.
Both images were taken with a 5D Mk2+24-105 at f8.
