straannick

Hi, I'm new at photo.net. So I wonder why colors of photos look so different at standard and large (size=lg) modes. In standard mode and in portfolio slide show the colors look too saturated - please see example - http://www.photo.net/photo/17920262. Why so, is it my mistake?

straannick
Thank you Bob! But at most sites where my photos had been published I observe difference between thumb-, small- and large-mode presentations. It looks like site's software saves small-mode copies of images with different parameters (for example, without color profile, I don't know). But if "they look the same" to you I suppose something wrong with calibration of my monitor (I do it with "spider 3" hardware and "SpectraView Profiler" software). Unfortunately I don't understand - how to solve this problem.
Does anybody have ideas ?
lex_jenkins
Try clearing your browser cache. Often that clears up temporary glitches in the appearance of photos. Your photo is set to sRGB and while it appears over saturated to me, it is consistent between the thumbnail, medium and large views. If all else fails try deleting and re-uploading the photo.
