Bill C1664885404 Posted March 16, 2015 Share Posted March 16, 2015 <p><strong>Canon FDn 80-200/4.0-L @ 80mm<br />While waiting for the sun to set yesterday, I took a couple test shots with the 80-200 I'd also taken along.</strong><br /> <br /> <strong>This was the top of a tall pine tree with bright blue sky behind it and strong direct setting sunlight hitting the front of it.<br />Figured the Blue / Green / Brown colors and delicate pine needles would be a good test for sharpness without a tripod, and exposure / color shooting up into that bright sky.<br />ISO100, AP mode, F8, 1/125, braced against a tree...all things considered, thought the test turned out OK.</strong><br /> <br /> <br /> <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/roundball/PHOTOGRAPHY/SCENICS/WOODS%20SCENES/031515%2080-200L%20BlueGreenBrown...waiting%20for%20sunsetLR_zpsrrjju9no.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p> </p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

phil_d Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 <p>Frederic, I like your pic, I miss the Crocus' here in South Carolina, but then I might be biased, as I am originally from Belgium... <br> Although, after having planted some crocus 6 years ago, this year was the only year I actually saw them coming up again. I had already given up, thinking Deer or Squirrels had feasted on them.
