mike_halliwell

I like your idea on specifying ranges and priorities

Maybe they'll make it so you can specify a range for a focus limiter in body, rather than in lens. Afterall, D info has been around a while. For action with a contrasty background, to specify, say, between 5 and 8 meters would be handy for horse jumps.....or 30m plus for airshows. If the camera loses focus it will focus cycle to one end or other and return. My 300mm f4 AFS, is renowned for this behaviour and it's AF speed isn't that great in the first place.
Andrew Garrard
On that note, can I add focus bracketing to the request list? (See, if Nikon had implemented all of this stuff we wouldn't be saying the D7200 was a "minor and overdue upgrade"...)

Andrew Garrard
BeBu: Can I interest you in some duct tape? I don't mind whether you put it over buttons or the screen. :-)

I'd hope the quick/custom menu system is solving most of the objections about feature creep - but maybe not?

Mike D
I did notice the D7200's incredible increase in speed at which all my jpeg images are ready to be viewed. This is great for sports shooters. I can rattle off 20 to 30 images as a surfer is riding a wave and they are almost immediately available to view. Write speed just moved up on my camera priority list. Still not as high as FPS but getting there.
