andrew_thompson1
Has anyone done the 2.0 firmware update yet? I've heard rumors the firmware addresses some sharpening issues and possibly the underexposure issue when the camera is used in full program mode. Does anyone that got the update have any views on this? hunter_harrison
I do not have any particular views on what it fixes. However, my D100 came NIB with ver. 2.0. One thing of note, is that ver. 2.0 fixes an issues with the AdobeRGB color profile. If you use version 1.0 and AdobeRGB, you will likely experience issues when in Photoshop. In particular, what the camera labeled as AdobeRGB was really sRGB (I think, don't take my word). I do know there was an issue though.
astcell
I have had three D100s so far. The first was version 1.1 and perfect in every way, except there was a dead pixel in the center of the image, so I replaced it. The replacement has version 2.0 software, which I liked because it makes a wav file of the sound clips I add. That camera had a terrible blue cast and underexposure. Nikon swapped it out for me. My third camera has less blue cast but does underexpose. The built in flash is useless, but the SB-80DX makes the camera shine once again. So to ake a long answer even longer, yes, it appears underexposed.
