dcstep
Kenneth, I think that you actually DO wildlife. Nice shot!

Anything nature will do, just avoid the "hand of man."

Laura Weishaupt
Kenneth K., welcome to MiN. Like David said, we're about all nature. Nice shot with yummy colors.
Bill Jordan, more scrumptious color on the water.
Rick DuB, the bird seems to grow right out of the rock and looks to be well camouflaged, despite the orange.
John Rowsell, oooohhhhhh, ice and cold already.

Thom, Roberta, thanks. I was inspired by so many of Thom's wonderful reflection shots. Juncos are here in eastern PA, and have been around the homestead for about a week.
geoffm
Not too familiar with English butterflies, so I thought this was a Painted Lady at the time. Turns out to be a Small Tortoiseshell.

jordan2240
All wonderful shots. Thank you Laura and Roberta for the shout-out. Your contributions are stunning as usual.

To Kenneth, looks like you do wildlife (as should any photographer who happens to be outside with a camera), but nature extends beyond that of course, so don't be a stranger. More contributions means more learning. Seeing what others present here has inspired me to strive for improvement.
thadley
Laura I like your warm image and the clean and attractive tree trunks in the background. But there are so many other great shots this week from everyone. Mine was a shot taken in Barbados this summer near to a restaurant called Brown Sugar- the trunk might be mohogany.

robert100
no one else will care about this, but i do, and need to put it on record. Earlier, i made a "correction" to my initial statement about the distance it was to the squirrel in my photo. My "correction" statement was incorrect, the distance in my first statement was the correct one, he/she is about 10 meters away. The confusion in my posts this morning arose simply because I had photographed it in three different trees Friday morning strictly as experimentation with a tip from David Stephens, and when i loaded the image this morning I wasn't sure which folder i was even working an image from. Thanks.

Laura Weishaupt
Adriano, welcome to MiN. This is a great place to hang a portrait.
Tony, thank you. All that color has been replaced with a mantle of snow, a different picture indeed.
