Cheap Dedicated Flash for Nikon N65

I am thinking of getting a cheap flash for my N65 and I noticed that

Vivitar and Sunpak have some dedicated flashes under $100. I intend

to use it for experimenting primarily, but TTL would be nice for

indoor portraits and such. Are these worth considering while I save

up for a "real" flash? I don't mind the manual controls and I'll even

calculate GNs if need be.

Wish list:
- Test Button for Long Exposure/Multiple flashes
- Exposure compensation +/-2stops
- TTL control
- Decent GN spec. for indoor family photos and such
- 28mm to 105mm range
- Slave mode that allows it to be used with a Nikon flash (for when I

upgrade)
- Swivel & Tilt for bounce flash
I have an N80 and N65, and use the Sunpak PZ 5000AF, which has (I think) all the features you mentioned. The price is about $150, so a bit above your budget. But I've been quite happy with it. The only quibble is the strobe's shoe -- plastic. Having said that, I've used it for two years and it is in fine shape.
