a software foe a Canon 600D

Should be able to download Canon software from Canon.com

<p>Sometimes you have to have the software already installed before the update will work. Try your local Canon support and see. If it won't work, write to or call Canon and explain that you need the basic software for the 600D (may be under Rebel T3i which is the same camera).</p>

<p>Canon's software can be downloaded from Canon websites. In fact the software is labelled as update but it is a full program. But: in order to install you need some (at least one) Canon piece of software installed, for instance from CD.<br>

Search the archives for workarounds. You may be able to find a very early program (DPP 1) that you can install without the CD and then install/update to whatever you want/need. </p>

<p>You can now download a complete CD image from the Canon website on submission of your camera body serial number.</p>

pick your OS and then download the "canon digital solutions disk", a popup will ask the serial number, last time i did it the camera was connected and didnt even have to type the serial in...</p>
