Running late this month! Out enjoying summer vacation on the coast. Fishing daily which is just awesome! Haven't had much time for photography; but there's always tomorrow. Anyhow, post 'em if you got 'em for July 2014. Mamiya 6MF Kodak TMax Rodinal Epson V700

00ci7Q-549819984.jpg.b36bf5fef2561841cb33abd6a7b6c620.jpg

Picked up an old Hasselblad kit and after seeing the first slides a few weeks ago I am hooked!

Mamiya 645AFD, Kodak DCS645M with the IR-block filter clicked off, 80/1.9 at f2.8.
Stack of 12 x 1 minute exposures on an AstroTrac mount, processed in Deep Sky Stacker.

This reminds me of old hypered Tech Pan film shots with a deep red filter, except here it's actually in colour: the little nebulae are reddish due to the 656 nm Hydrogen line. The star-clouds and interstellar dust clouds are more structured in IR than they would be in the visible.

00cinW-549951584.jpg.a500c32fc0f45e8d5c623918f0204247.jpg

Awesome shot, Ray. I've always wanted to do something like that, but the old fashioned way somewhat like you describe mounting one of my 35mm cameras on a piggyback mount on my Celestron SCT, except using some TMX or TMY. I just need to find the time to get to a dark spot! Nicely done.
