WHAT FINDER MAGNIFICATION ON 1995 M6? 0.58x, 0.68x, 0.72x, 0.85x or 0.91x

<p>Unless modified, yours should be a .72 magnification RF.</p>

<p>Not until 1998 did M6 "classic" units begin to offer a different magnification. (*marked as .85)<br /> Also in 1998, Leica introduced a newer M6 model, the M6TTL; with this model Leica did identify the three offerings with a *tiny ID of what VF was in the camera. Lower front right, of the largest front window (<strong>.58</strong> <strong>.72</strong> <strong>.85</strong>)</p>

<p>Gus is right (but do note his caveat "unless modified"). The frame lines in the camera also speak. If 28mm is the widest, then you have a 0.72; and if 35mm is the widest, then it's a 0.85. Unless modified.</p>
