adrian_ngasi
I just heard on BBC that Herb Ritts died in LA. CNN.com has a relatively detailed piece about him. Adrian

domenico_foschi
I started photography when he was really big in the 80's. I used to admire his studies of the human form, his deep understanding of man's beauty. He has probably been one of the few photographers( after Horst p. Horst in the early 1900's , and then Minor White ) to show true appreciation of the male's body , and yes, being homosexual probably helped him to be more corageous and more liric. He has shown a corageous sensitivity in a time where homosexuality was still a stigma , and for this he deserves a lot of respect. Another is gone , he probably had accomplished what he had to do. Good bye Herb Ritts , and thank you.

todd frederick
Everyone of us will one day wake up, and never see tomorrow. Rather than lament the passings, I think we should celebrate the achievements.
