<p>Flash memory is amazingly cheap compared to how film used to be, and it's reusable!</p>

<p>For repeatable bird-on-nest, I'd take a dozen or so and trust the VR to get 10% right.</p>

<p>However, for anything one-off, I'd still push ISO to get into the un-VR-aided shutter-speed range.</p>
