What paper should i print on?

Recommended Posts

Hello.
I did a series of multi-exposure photos for my school project trying to create a painting in a form of photograph. Below are some examples from the series i did. Now i want to print this for the critique but I'm not sure if i should print on matte or watercolor paper. I did a test print on both the paper and it just looks way too similar for me to be able to tell the difference. Maybe its because I'm not too experienced in the printing field.
The printer they use in school is an Epson Inkjet Printer

There are many different types of watercolor paper, some with very smooth surface and some with a very rough surface. I suggest you buy the Hahnemuhle Textured sample pack:
and test out the different papers to see which one you like the best.
