keith reeder Posted January 3, 2014 Share Posted January 3, 2014 <p>Many Raw converters (including ACR in Photoshop) map these out automatically - it's really not an issue, and as Xin says, all camera sensors have dead/stuck pixels.</p> <p>Certainly, <em>one </em>visible dead pixel will be <em>well</em> within manufacturing tolerance - one out of 16.3 million is pretty good going. Even if the tolerance was (say) only 00.1% of the number of pixels on a sensor, that'd still allow for <em>1600</em> errant pixels before the manufacturer would consider the sensor "defective".</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
