C330 film door fitment

<p>I recently acquired a very nice C330f and this morning developed the first roll to run through it. It looks to be rather badly fogged... The light seals are all in place but I'm curious about how the film door should fit when latched. On this camera, once the door latches in place it can still be pushed in toward the body a bit. Probably 1-1.5mm worth of movement. Is this normal or should the door, once latched, be pretty solidly seated?<br>

Is the latch on these things adjustable?<br>

As I said the seals look ok but perhaps are compressed. Its hard to tell without another known good camera here to compare them too. I do have one of John Goodman's nice foam kits here so if need be fixing this shouldn't be a problem.<br>

Looking again, and apparently with more care, it looks like new light seals are in order. I'll take care of that tonight and

give it another try.

Have you checked the bellows to be light-safe? If the negatives "look badly fogged" that might be the problem too....<br>

Put a bright light inside, like a powerful headlight. Check it in a dark room

for any light coming out anywhere. Extend the bellows all the way n

carefully look at the corners n creases.
