Good Nikon Wedneday, everyone. Will I be excommunicated from this forum if I also use the occasional Sony NEX7? Mind you, I won't actually show pictures from it here (unless I mount a Nikkor lens on it!), but I did use a Nikon body to take a picture of it. In this case, that NEX is the body that's mounted to the 3D gimbal on the latest project in my evolving fleet of camera drones. Below it's hovering about head-height, and blowing all of the mosquitoes away. That's a 16mm pancake lens mounted for relatively wide-angle aerial shots - not bad for a fairly inexpensive lens.

I know, using your gear to shoot photos of gear is highly nerdy. Guilty! Whatcha got this week? Share!

00c4gP-543066084.jpg.ec24423659c4ab2100ddda31832d9d09.jpg

Good morning to everyone. Steve, she is cute and keep shooting since they grow up quickly. I have been shooting Fall like crazy this month and this is one of them next to the St.Lawrence river in Laprairie Quebec. There is a couple in the distance doing cart wheels at the far left but not performing when I grabbed this shot.

00c4gj-543066784.jpg.67089e5b117d8666ad297827d01130b8.jpg

Went to Hip Pocket Theatre to see a stage adaptation of the Lum & Abner classic radio comedy, "Sassafras, Poppy Cock, and Prittleprattle with Lum and Abner". Visited with some old friends and met some new friends around the fireside after the show. These folks heard about Hip Pocket, an outdoor theater, from a UTA faculty member. Hopefully they'll get hooked and come back.

This past weekend my wife and I went to one of our favorite places to shoot, Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge, it's a National park. So it isn't closed, but they wouldn't let us stop to take pictures. I managed to sneak this one in on the side of the road.

00c4iS-543070484.jpg.913e538aed93c417f1ce3c1ef061e1d5.jpg
