bee_eye
Hello,
An art gallery has contacted me recently requesting to print & sell some of my photos. I negotiated the offer with them & all is in good terms, however, they asked me to prep the photos on a cd to send to the printer.
I want to know if there is anything that I should do before sending the photos, as this is the first time I do printing (aside from some cheap not so high quality prints that I did as gifts. I appreciate your feedbak/recommendations..
Here's some of the photos to be printed: http://www.bee-eye.co/#!city-scapes/c3c1
Thank you
acedigital
I would contact the printer and ask them what their requirements are. They may be able to provide you an ICC profile to match your computer with their printer. You would use this in Lightroom or Photoshop as the output color profile and print to a file. Beautiful work!
Brad_
Only the printer can advise you of their requirements. www.citysnaps.net
dcstep
Yes, if they're using a local printer, then contact the printer. You could even run a proof perhaps. The printer should be very interested in a quality result and will likely be willing to make minor tweaks to work the best with his printers and the paper chosen. My guy in Denver is incredible and very reasonable (Tony Eitzel for those near Denver).

AJHingel
If it is a good professional printer, they will do the sharpening, which is best adapted to their equipment.
