ray_moreau
Chrome, one of best film processing and print service labs in the DC area closed their doors a few years ago.
I am looking for recommendations, from folks in the Northern Virginia, DC & Maryland area, for lab that print up to 30"x40" ciba- or ilfachrome prints from 35mm slides.
Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
cbender
By "Chrome", do you mean "Dodge Chrome", or something else? Dodge Chrome's website is still active (with a 2013 date on it).
ray_moreau
Nope...not Dodge Chrome. Chrome was a lab in DC on Q-street.
bob_himmelright
If they still have ilfochrome products, it won't be for long, they have been discontinued for quite some time now.
levon_b
You may want to try out Dodge- Chrome. They have locations in McLean, VA; Silver Spring, MD; and DC. Someone on this forum recommended them to me, and I have been very happy with them for all of my enlargement and non-C41 work. I suspect that they will probably scan and print from the scan in your case, but you may want to ask to find out.
allancobb
I use Dodge Chrome at the silver Spring location. Their services run the entire spectrum, including 8x10 E-6 processing. They have full scanning and printing services, including printing on different surfaces up to wall size. You name it, they do it, excellent work!
trish_sawyer
Ray,
Chrome merged with Dodge in 2010. It is the same Chrome of Q Street with the same owner; only the Q Street location closed (perhaps, the lease was up).
