peter_cohen
Finally figured out how to fix a 32" LCD TV that was lying in a corner for a year. Got a camera-to-TV HDMI cable and used the big display during a studio session. Much faster display than shooting tethered to a 15" laptop, not to mention the increased size. It was all great until I rotated the camera to portrait position and the images were displayed sideways on the TV. I tried changing the image rotation setting in the menu on my D7000, but it didn't make any difference (or I messed something up along the way).

Is this just the nature of the beast or is there a way to get portrait (vs landscape orientation) views to display correctly on the TV?

Thanks in advance.
