A good Nikon Wednesday to everyone. I'm afraid it's two dog days in a row, for me!

Our local chipmunk population has gone off the charts, much to the consternation of our female GSP (who would prefer to be called Hit Girl, when it comes to rodents). She watches them from behind a deck railing with a wishful, lethal intensity. The chipmunks just don't seem to care, just like the dog couldn't care less about the camera guy. Whatcha been shooting? Show!

"The view from my backyard".
We've had a very mediocre Spring so far with very few opportunities to play with my recently acquired iOptron Skytracker. This was a test shot taken a couple of weeks ago as the clouds were creeping back in after a very brief window of minimal cloudiness on a moonless night.

00bgdF-539537684.jpg.0369b8c3e6e436373373a613a26a1f2e.jpg
