<p>Was up in Philadelphia visiting over the weekend and was enjoying the spring weather - i think everything was in bloom or showing new growth. These tulips were just starting to open up for the day, I have been enjoying the heck out of my ancient Vivitar Series 1 macro lately and decided for some close in views. <a title="tulip_3 by clt.pics, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/outwithmycamera13/8690566837/"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7050/8690566837_a19529129c_z.jpg" alt="tulip_3" width="640" height="640" /></a> <a title="tulip_2 by clt.pics, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/outwithmycamera13/8690566847/"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7047/8690566847_90d27c1d0d_z.jpg" alt="tulip_2" width="640" height="439" /></a><br>

The daffodils are nearing the end of their cycle I think, and this one seemed a bit worse for wear but I liked the backlighting and opportunity to play with some black and white conversion. <a title="daffodil_b2 by clt.pics, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/outwithmycamera13/8691686182/"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7045/8691686182_bd6f760244_z.jpg" alt="daffodil_b2" width="640" height="439" /></a><br>

All taken with a D80 and Vivitar Series 1 105 f/2.5 macro</p>
