mvihava
I have brand new LR5. It stops working quite often for tens of seconds and then goes on again. Other have same issues? LR4 had no such difficulties. The hole computer stop then and no other program can be used.
goldbergbarry
I have not had this problem. Have you tried rebooting? You may need to remove and reinstall LR5.
keith reeder
With so little detail it's impossible to say if anyone has "the same" issues, Markku - it could be that the issue is entirely RAM or OS dependent.
StanleyBeck
A lot of these graphic programs that process large photographs need a large "scratch pad" area for processing, saving "undo" pages, etc. If there isn't enough memory allocated to this, the program will use the hard drive for temporary storage, and that may interrupt the work flow. Just one possibility.
