saintelmo21
Just watched a 2012 documentary film about the life and work of British Photographer Don McCullin. Here is a link to a review of the film by UK Observer. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, but I must warn you that there are photographs of dead and dying children, women, and men which are very disturbing to say the least. I hope some of you find it as educational as I did.
starvy
Thank you very much indeed. I'd like to watch the full length feature if it is available freely somewhere online.
saintelmo21
Starvy, I downloaded it from a movie website. I don't think you can get it for free anywhere.
tonmestrom
McCullin is a great photographer by any standard and his body of work is impressive, not in the least from a historical perspective. It has cost him a lot though like so many of them.
Ian Taylor
His autobiography is great, I've just finished it.
There is a great little film on the Canon site of Jeff Ascough teaching McCullin how to go digital.

I made the mistake of having my lunch when the segment about his trip to the Civil war in Nigeria came up....it was horrible. I think he mentioned that he was divorced shortly after that. Ian, I didn't realize he'd written an autobiography....thanks for the link also.
