perry_cas
I have an Xpro1. NO flash. I do use a bit of fill from time to time so am looking for a really small flash - any suggestions?
tjfuss
How about an old Canon 011A from the AE-1 era? It's a slim rectangular package measuring 4 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches deep and just 3/4 inch wide. The foot adds another 3/8 inch to the height which is great for helping to keep red-eye to a minimum.

Powered by a pair of AA batteries, it has a guide number of 13 (ISO100, meters) or 46 (ISO100, feet).
curt wiler
The Fuji EF-X20 designed to go with the body is about as small as it gets, and offers a degree of automation. It can also be used to trigger remote flashes (some Nikon, maybe Canon) in manual mode.
Rick Helmke
Maybe an old Vivitar 102 or 202. Small, use a pair of AA's, the 202 has an auto function. Rick H

craig_shearman1
I have the 102 and 202. They use four AA's rather than two, but fit in a shirt pocket. The 102, which is completely manual and cost about $10 at the time, was the first flash I ever bought and it still working after almost 40 years.
perry_cas
thanks for this v helpful. the canon and the nikon are my best options, small, flat Excellent! can live in my bag i wont know its there. The x20 is too good and too expensive for my usage. I also think it takes up too much room I had a speedlite for my 5d bought it new used it exactly 3 times in 3 years.
Thanks again all
