mike dixon
Your own walls aren't always a gallery for your best photos--they're for photos that mean something to you.

actually, it's an 11x14 on the fridge--that's where I stick my own stuff

jkantor
I thought I'd mention one thing: I've never displayed any of my own images, except for advertising purposes. By the time I'm done with them, I'm thinking about something new. However, I do have a collection of other photographer's shots (mostly from magazine covers) that I would display (if I had the appropriate space available). mike dixon
John, why look at all your images as a disposable commodity? I understand photography as product, but it can be a lot more than that.

fotografz
This one won best of show in tough all media art competition. It resides on my wall double matted along with it's companion image shot seconds before. It is also on the walls of a couple of photography collectors.

robert_m_johnson
Here is the above image done a little closer to the one on the wall. The real one is a full frame image printed with a cold light enlarger on fiber based Oriental Seagull glossy paper, selenium toned, mounted, matted and framed! :-) http://www.photo.net/photo/1206200&size=lg
