Where scanner stores my scans

<p>PSE 10 and Canon all-in-one scanner<br>

Can anyone remind me where I first changed this preference. No matter what I change preference for folder to store a new scan the scan always ends up in the folder where I put the first scan I ever did with this setup. I just cannot seem to find where I made that choice the first time I scanned a photo.</p>

<p>Whenever I forget where things are going on my computer, I always retrace my steps. Start by making a new scan in your normal manner. In most cases, you will have a setup screen to adjust the scanner, make previews, etc. Someplace there, you'll find the answer you are looking for, probably right next to where you tell it the name of the scan.</p>

<p>If that doesn't help, make a new scan, then in the Finder (Mac) or Windows Explorer, do a search on the new file name, and limit the search to today's date. You should be able to locate the file path there.</p>

<p>why not download and install the CanonScan Toolbox - I use this to do my scans and it gives you full control of all the scan parameters including where to store the scans</p>
