malcolm_denton
Is anyone running the Minolta scanner software on Mac OS 10.8 ?
wgpinc
Sorry I can't answer your question. I'm not running 10.8 just 10.7. I never liked the Minolta scanner software so I have always run Silverfast with my KM 5400. It's a little pricey but a very good solution that I would bet Lasersoft has a version for on OS 10.8. Good luck!
JDMvW
I'm still running Lion (10.7.5) as well, but at least try VueScan (link) - a sample download is free and they upgrade it nearly weekly, or so it seems.

It even runs my old Hewlett-Packard scanner as well as the newest one I've bought. For many scanners, it is actually better and faster than the original software was.
michael mccann
I am running the 5400 on 10.8. It works wonderful, but I have to use Vuescan. I bought Vuescan Pro several years ago as the update are free forever.
dfperrault
I have only used silverfast. If the minolta utility doesn't work you could try to run the pc version on xp or maybe W7 on parallels
