john_shriver Posted August 11, 2012 Share Posted August 11, 2012 <p>Sky is where C-41 films often show grain the worst. Which film are you scanning? The latest Portra 400 films (400 and the preceding 400NC-3) have much less grain in skies than earlier films.<br> Also, try scanning at higher resolution, you may be encountering "grain aliasing".</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
