hanappa
Testing out the 60mm macro again this past weekend. Conditions were not all that great (overcast, drizzly at times). Makes me recognize need for additional lighting for macro, especially hand-held shots. Was fun, though.

This one is probably a Rounded Metalmark (though if someone has better ID, let me know, was at Bull Creek in Austin, TX, and bigger than the Little Metalmark).

yardkat
Nikon Wednesday is really my favorite day of the week. I love seeing what everyone shoots...from the everyday to the sublime. :)
I haven't been out shooting lately, but I was putting together some prints and made a triptych out of these three. These are my handsome boy Red, from summer of 2011. He's getting on in years and someday he won't be able to go out hiking with us, so I'm happy to have these photos of him enjoying the mountains. Would have been taken with my D70 and 18-70mm lens.
