<p>Frank: 'cause I am sure the leica, voigtlander, mamiya and olympus glassesI have are a lot better. I am waiting for the adapters.....Indeed, the pic looks very well with this Sony cheap lens...but.... I will do a test soon between the differente lenses<br>

<p>WOW! What a NEX...the tiny superb camera...Is not it? Soon I will test it with Canon EOS, Nikon F, Olympus Om, Mamiya 645, Leica screw, M and R and Hasselblad lenses....I need to wait for the adaptors for many long days.....</p>

<p>I often find kit lenses to often be better in practice compared to how the perform in "tests" where they often get branded with terms like mediocre by people who cannot see beyond their 100% viewing-only world. When it comes to just taking pictures, they usually perform quite well. Add the sensor in the NEX7 and you've got yourself a pretty good outfit capable of a pretty wide range of photography.</p>

<p>The areas where they don't perform are where you'd expect it because they can't, like faster aperture lenses such as the 24mm f1.8</p>
