A few of us got together on Thursday for some shots of the downtown San Diego skyline from Coronado Island.

K-5, DA40, 1/80 sec. at F/8.9, ISO 125, -1EV, cranked up the contrast some in Aperture.

k-5, DA21, 15 sec. at f/10.0, ISO 100.

Finally, here's the actual San Diego skyline - the first two were taken looking the opposite direction.

K-5, DA70, 25 sec. at f/9.0, ISO 100. Shot in color and converted to b/w in Aperture. The colors in the direction of downtown just weren't all that great on Thursday, so I tried this instead.

My 10 year old Grandson has an interest in Photography. I took him out this weekend to practice. I took my P30t and DL. These are from the DL I am waiting for the film to get developed.
OOPS While doing this post I noticed every shot was at iso 1600. I had been shooting in low light, hand held I forgot to move back to a lower iso. It has now been moved back This gives me another reason to post here. I have to read my EXIF data.

00ajpV-491417584.jpg.a39eaed422c59116272c64e06d3d3ad2.jpg

Sorry, nothing from me. The semester is almost started and my time is busy elsewhere.

Anyway...
Love those shots Marcus, especially the B&W image.
And Nick, I really dig those drifting head-less wonders.
Nice sequence Yury.

Love the owl shot too. (sorry, can't check to see who it belongs to right now)
Always like your work Robert, especially when you pull out an ol' Tak. Not to be TOO critical, but weren't you a touch TOO close to that bear? We need all of our Pentax folks to keep all of their fingers.

Douglas, didn't see him up the tree until I was practcally under him, backed off a ways until I was about even height wise, sorta know this bear and was glad to see him eating natural foods since he has made a few visits to the campground, he usually shadows a big female with 2 young cubs, I'm assuming he is her last years cub since he's only about 80lbs and from my limited bear behavior think its a he since I've been told male cubs usually get run off when new cubs are born and these are the ones that are at risk of being problem bears.
Markus, like the black and white, gotta ask, what are those things?
