<p>A good Wednesday to everyone. It's fall, now (above the equator, anyway), and that always puts me in a pastoral mood. Here's a shot from a commercial shoot on a farm. While waiting for the owner, I prowled around his heavy equipment. What have you shot while waiting for the thing you're planning to shoot? Share a photo!</p><div></div>

<p>Wow, some very nice stuff this week. This is a last minute shot of the Space Shuttle fly by of the Hollywood Hills. I ran up to the roof of The Grove Los Angeles parking. Used a polarizing filter, but it did not do well so I had to do some color correcting. </p><div></div>

<p>Got out to an airshow this weekend. My 1st time shooting at one, so lots of rookie mistakes, but loved how my D300 performed. All photos D300 with Tamron 70-300 V/C.</p><div></div>

<p>Ok. Some rally nice photos already! Liked <a href="../photodb/user?user_id=437734">Mark Sirota</a>'s light painting and <a href="../photodb/user?user_id=3676315">Robert Wayt</a>'s fisherman alot. <br />Here's three photos from Givskud Zoo in Denmark. There was a baby gorilla that was so lovely. The ways it played looked so human and the way the mother cuddled it was just adorable. Of course the fact that they were captivated is always sad...especially the fact the we humans have threatened them to this situation. <br />For my D200 the lighting situation wasn't the best and hence I decided to make the photos B&W to give the black fur some extra light but without loosing shades. Enjoy!<br>
